About

Creake Abbey Farmers' Market

Creake Abbey holds its award-winning farmers' market on the first Saturday of each month, except January, from 9.30am to 1pm. Around 60 regular stallholders attend, with guest stalls bringing the total to about 65, spread across an old grain store, two Norfolk brick and flint barns and outside by the pond. Stalls sell meat, fish, bread and baked goods, vegetables, fruit and flowers in season, local and European cheeses, cakes, tarts, pies, fudge, pickles, oils and preserves, local ales and wines, juices, plants and cut flowers. Most stalls take cards, and many stallholders take advance orders. The market holds Farmers Market Certification from the Farm Retail Association. The Barn Café at Creake Abbey and visiting street food vans provide refreshments, and the courtyard's independent shops open from 10am to 4pm.
