Snape Maltings offers one of Suffolk's finest concert halls, housed within a beautifully converted Victorian maltings complex near the River Alde. The venue hosts a diverse program of classical music, opera, and contemporary performances throughout the year, drawing artists and audiences from across the region. Breakfast Club with Live Jazz
A lovely way to ease into a Sunday morning, the Breakfast Club with Live Jazz takes place in the River View Café & Bar at Snape Maltings, set against sweeping views across the reed beds and the River Alde. Snape Maltings' resident jazz band provides a laid-back soundtrack from 9am, while the kitchen serves the venue's dedicated Breakfast Club Menu alongside a selection of cocktails and mocktails. Malted Mussel
The Malted Mussel is a summer seafood pop-up at Snape Maltings, running from Wednesday 29 July to Monday 31 August 2026. Billed by Britten Pears Arts as "delicious seafood" and part of the wider Summer at Snape programme, it sits on the edge of the River Alde, drawing on the outstanding natural setting that makes Snape one of Suffolk's most beloved destinations. The menu takes its inspiration from the Suffolk coast, showcasing seasonal produce in a relaxed, informal setting that suits a linger after a gallery visit or a wander along the reedbeds. Alongside the food, expect award-winning wines, local beer and soft drinks. Good to know Open Wednesday to Sunday throughout the run. Laura Mvula opens the Summer at Snape season with an intimate acoustic evening at Snape Maltings Concert Hall in Suffolk, on Friday 31 July at 7.30 pm. One of British music's most distinctive voices, Mvula weaves together R&B, jazz, classical, and pop into something that resists easy category. For this stripped-back performance she is joined by pianist Oli Rockberger, the combination turning the spotlight squarely on her voice and her songwriting craft.
