Halloween Family Imagination Day

A coven of witches takes over the hall for a free, drop-in Halloween family day run by the National Centre for Writing, open from 10am to 3pm and suitable for all ages. Rootling Theatre runs pop-up puppet making from 10am to 12.30pm, where children create their own Wicked Witch on a first-come, first-served basis. There are also hands-on crafts, giant outdoor games, explorer bags, a book nook, drawing and colouring, plus a Big Draw activity decorating boats that carry hopes and wishes. No booking is needed, and the building is largely wheelchair accessible, with platform lifts, accessible toilets and a hearing loop.
