Ness Point
Ness Point is the UK's easternmost viewpoint in Lowestoft, Suffolk, marked by the Euroscope ground disc showing distances to locations across Europe and Britain.

About
Ness Point
A small headland on the North Sea coast, Ness Point holds the distinction of being the most easterly point of the United Kingdom, sitting at the edge of Lowestoft, Suffolk. The Euroscope, a large disc set into the ground, records bearings and distances to places including the other cardinal points of Britain and European capitals. Looming overhead is 'Gulliver', a wind turbine that generates enough electricity to power around 1,500 homes and has become an unofficial landmark of the site.
