Landguard Point
Landguard Point is a historic viewpoint at the southern tip of Felixstowe, Suffolk, where giant container ships can be watched entering and leaving the Port of Felixstowe.

About
Landguard Point
Sitting at Suffolk's southernmost tip, Landguard Point overlooks the mouth of the River Orwell and gives close-up views of one of Britain's busiest container ports. The John Bradfield Viewing Area is the focal point for ship-watching, with a café and visitor facilities on site. The peninsula also takes in Landguard Fort, the site of the last opposed seaborne invasion of England in 1667, and a nature reserve on the shingle spit that supports rare plants and migrating birds.
