Million Dollar Quartet

Based on a true story, Million Dollar Quartet recreates one of the most celebrated nights in music history. On 4 December 1956, Sun Records founder Sam Phillips brought Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins together for an impromptu jam session, an occasion that has passed into legend. The musical, with a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, brings that evening to life through performances of rock 'n' roll, gospel, rhythm and blues and country classics, including "Blue Suede Shoes", "Great Balls of Fire", "Walk the Line" and "Hound Dog", all played live on stage by the cast.
