Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club's annual fireworks night at the Haberden on Southgate Green opens its gates at 6pm, with fairground rides and food and drink stalls. The display runs from 7.45pm to 8pm.
Early bird tickets cost £7.50, or £25 for a family of four aged over 6, until 31 October. After that tickets are £10 online or on the gate, which takes cash and card but has no family ticket. Under 6s go free. There is no on-site parking: the club suggests walking if you're local, or using Rougham Lorry Park, and has a few Blue Badge spaces on request.
