Perched at the mouth of the River Deben estuary, The Ferry Cafe has been a fixture at Felixstowe Ferry since 1953, combining a retro 1950s American-diner interior, complete with jukebox and vinyl records, with views across the water to sailing boats. The menu runs from hand-battered cod, haddock, plaice and scampi to cooked breakfasts, artisan Suffolk bacon rolls, and brunch dishes, all served dine-in or as takeaway. Homemade cakes and barista coffee round things off.
