About
Slaughden Sailing Club
Sitting at the end of Slaughden Road on the banks of the River Alde, this volunteer-run club opens its doors to non-members on Saturdays and Sundays. The clubhouse extension includes a fully fitted galley and a lounge with views westward up the river, and the sunsets here have a reputation of their own. Close by stands the Martello Tower, England's most northerly and the largest ever built.
