About
RSPB Minsmere
Spread across the Suffolk coast between Dunwich and Sizewell, Minsmere takes in reedbeds, shallow lagoons, heathland, wet grassland and vegetated shingle, all carefully managed for wildlife. Avocets, Bitterns, Marsh Harriers and Bearded Tits are among the species regularly seen here, and Otters and Water Voles inhabit the reedbed pools. Nature trails, a Wild Zone for families, and a café terrace overlooking the reserve round out a visit.
