About
Landguard Nature Reserve
At the southernmost point of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, this nature reserve takes in shingle, grassland and scrub habitats supporting rare plants, nesting birds including the vulnerable Ringed Plover, insects, and marine wildlife. A bird observatory operates on site, and the reserve sits alongside Landguard Fort and Felixstowe Museum, making it part of a wider destination at Landguard Point.
