Bonfire Night Celebrations 2026

The museum's Bonfire Night Celebrations open at 5.30pm, the bonfire is lit at 7pm and the fireworks go off at 7.30pm, with the evening running until 9.30pm. Alongside them are fairground amusements, food trucks from more than ten local vendors and a steam engine.

Early bird tickets, on sale until 18 October, cost £7 for adults and £4 for ages 4 to 16, with under-4s free. There is no disabled parking in the museum grounds for the event, so Blue Badge holders are advised to arrive early and use the disabled bays at the Meadow Centre (ASDA) car park. Town car parks should be free from 6pm.
