Southwold Christmas Lights Switch On 2026

Southwold's Christmas lights switch-on brings a market along the High Street from 2pm, live entertainment in the Market Place from 2.30pm and a visit from the East Suffolk Donkey Sanctuary donkeys, before the lights go on from the Town Hall balcony at 5pm. A free Santa's grotto opens at the Adnams Tour Centre from 5.30pm, with no booking needed. The lights are funded by voluntary contributions.
