About
Brandon Market
Brandon's market is held on Market Hill, the market square next to the library, every Thursday morning from 8.30am. West Suffolk Council runs it. Stalls sell fruit and vegetables, fish, toys, clothing, plants, pet food and cakes, and there are tea rooms and a bakery around the square. Brandon received its market charter in the 16th century. The town sits in the Breckland, between Bury St Edmunds, Thetford and Mildenhall. There is free parking at the library next to the market square. Brandon has no bus station, but buses stop on the High Street, and the railway station is about ten minutes' walk away.
