Sitting on Guildhall Street in the heart of Bury St Edmunds, this medieval guildhall spans more than eight centuries of local history and opens its doors for public events as well as private hire. The building holds a panelled Courtroom, a Georgian Banqueting Hall, and the only surviving WWII Royal Observer Corps operations room in the area. A social history archive, the Tell Us Archive, documents local stories and oral histories connected to the site.
