Women on the Water

Women on the Water is a friendly Thursday evening paddle club held at Three Rivers Pitch & Paddle, a beautiful waterside site on the River Waveney near Geldeston, just outside Beccles. Sessions run from 6 to 7:30pm throughout the summer, and 30 July is one of several dates still available.

Designed for adult women of all abilities, the evening is as much about good company as it is about getting out on the water. Whether you have never held a paddle in your life or simply want to build confidence and rediscover the joy of being afloat, the atmosphere is relaxed and supportive with no pressure to perform.

What to expect

• Kayaking and paddleboarding on the River Waveney in lovely summer evening light
• A welcoming, social group where you can go at your own pace
• All equipment provided, so there is nothing to hire or lug along

• Time: 6:00pm to 7:30pm, Thursday evenings throughout summer
• Price: £25 per session
• Wear comfortable, water-friendly clothing and bring a sense of adventure
