About
Emmett's Store-Shop, Cafe and Smokehouse
Operating from its original premises on The Street in Peasenhall, Emmett's combines a working smokehouse with a fine foods store and café under one roof. The business is best known for its Suffolk Black Ham and its naturally cured black bacon, marinated in porter beer, molasses and brown sugar before smoking; both have featured on James Martin's Saturday Morning Kitchen and in Felicity Cloake's book Red Sauce Brown Sauce.
