Situated on Golf Lane in Aldeburgh, The Red House was the private home of Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears, preserved and opened to visitors as a museum, archive, and cultural attraction by Britten Pears Arts. The house, studio, library, and garden can all be explored, with the archive offering a close look at the personal and musical histories of both men. Guided tours run on Wednesdays by prior booking, while general admission is available Thursday to Sunday, 10.30am to 4.30pm.
