Ailish Tynan (Soprano) and Simon Lepper (Piano): NNMF Midwinterfest

Ailish Tynan's career takes her to opera houses and concert halls around the world. Over the past couple of seasons she has sung at The Grange Opera in Surrey, and at both the summer Festival and the Autumn season at Glyndebourne. She will sing the role of Nella in Gianni Schicchi at The Royal Opera House Covent Garden this season and will make her debut at La Monnaie, Brussels and at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. Ailish always presents creative and unusual programmes for her recitals and she has come up with a marvellous one for NNMF which includes The Four Last Songs by Richard Srauss and songs by Poulenc, together with a collection of songs about the the trials and rewards of romance, to which she has given the wry title 'The Story of Love!' Simon Lepper is a much loved regular at NNMF and his performance by the duo will end our MidWinterFest in great style.
