Jeff Innocent

Jeff Innocent is a stand-up comedian from Canning Town in London's East End, whose unusual appeal comes from the contrast between his imposing, geezer persona and a sharp, philosophical style of comedy honed through a BA in Cultural Studies and an MA in History and Philosophy. The Guardian once summed him up as having "the body of a nightclub bouncer and the brains of a university boffin". He is British Comedian of the Year 2021, a multiple UK Comedy Awards winner and a familiar face from television appearances including Later with Jools Holland and The Stand Up Show on BBC One. A popular figure on the club circuit, he has also built a sizeable following through social media.
