The Ploughshare
Run by Beeston Community Enterprises Ltd. and staffed largely by volunteers, this 16th-century pub sits in the rural Norfolk village of Beeston with Bittering, serving as both a bar and restaurant. The oldest part of the building dates to 1620, and the pub reopened under community ownership in 2018 after a two-year campaign to save it from permanent closure. Dogs are welcome, there is parking on site, and the pub takes bookings; outdoor seating is available for warmer days.
