About this event
New for 2026, a traditional German-style Christkindl market of wooden chalets fills Chapelfield Gardens for ten days, open from 10am to 9pm daily. Stalls sell handmade gifts, jewellery, decorations and homewares, alongside mulled wine, hot chocolate and street food, with live entertainment at the bandstand. Entry is free on weekdays until 3pm, then £2 per adult on weekday evenings and all day at the weekend, and children go free every day. The organisers favour local and regional makers.
