About this event
Out There Festival returns to the streets, parks and waterfronts of Great Yarmouth for another exhilarating long weekend of free outdoor performance. Organised by the local charity Out There Arts and staged across the town, from St George's Park to the seafront promenade, this is one of the UK's most celebrated festivals of circus and outdoor arts.
What to expect
- International circus companies, street theatre and outdoor spectacle spread across multiple outdoor stages and spaces
- A family-friendly atmosphere welcoming audiences of all ages, with accessibility provisions including relaxed performances and an Access Hub on site
- A programme that regularly draws more than 60,000 people over the three days, blending breathtaking physical performance with more than a little seaside silliness
- A separate Professional Programme for arts industry delegates, hosted at The Drill House
Good to know
- The public programme is free to attend; a small number of ticketed evening shows may apply
- St George's Park, a central green space in the heart of Great Yarmouth, is one of the festival's key hubs and is easily reached on foot from the town centre
- Regular train services run between Norwich and Great Yarmouth (Abellio Greater Anglia), and bus services stop at Market Gates, a short walk from the park
- Keep an eye on outtherearts.org.uk for the full 2027 programme as it is announced
