Now in its third generation of family ownership, this long-running butchers on Harleston's main shopping street has been trading since 1934. Meat is sourced locally from Norfolk and Suffolk farms, and the shop cures and smokes its own bacon, gammon and ham in-house using a slow, traditional method. 'Brownes Bangers' come in over 30 flavours, including a recipe unchanged for more than 70 years. A delivery service is available, and the shop is closed on Sundays.
