Sitting close to Hemsby Gap and the seafront, The Sandsgate Bar serves as the village's main bar and live-music venue, open daily from 11am until late throughout the year. Inside there are two pool tables, seven screens showing TNT Sports, and a regular darts league; live entertainment runs on most days during the season. From Easter 2025 a new south-facing outdoor seating area with sea views down through Hemsby Gap adds to the appeal.
