Situated right next to Downham Market train station, Knicat Bakery has been a fixture of the town since its incorporation in 1991, turning out bread, confectionery, and celebration cakes using local produce. As well as a takeaway counter, the bakery has a small dining area where sit-in breakfasts, sandwiches, and tea and cake are served throughout the day. A courtyard at the back comes into its own in summer, handy for a break before catching a train.
